MS
Outlook is an email client comes with a package of Office Suite. There are
various application offered with MS Office suite out of which MS Outlook is
one. The latest version of Outlook is 2013 and for Mac its Outlook 2011.
It
can also be used as a standalone application and smoothly works with Microsoft
Exchange Server and SharePoint Server that serves the need of multiple users of
an organization.
Now
the question arises how users can add email accounts or create profile in
Outlook in order to use it as their email client. There are precise steps to
configure Outlook with the desired email ids i.e. either an Exchange mailbox or
any online email clients like Gmail, Yahoo and Rediff Mail etc.
- In Microsoft Windows Pane, Click on Start and the Select Control Panel
- Click
on Users Account and then Select “Mail” Option
- Following
Window will pop up, Click on Show Profiles Option and then “Add”
- Now,
fill profile name as per your need and click on “Ok”
- Now
the following window will appear, fill the required details
- After
entering the details like Name, Email ID and password, Click on “Next”
- Following
window will appear showing the procedure of creating Outlook profile
- Once
the process is completed, congratulation window will appear, Click on “Finish”
- Below
screenshot shows that profile is successfully added in Outlook, now click on “Ok
- Open
your Outlook account and it shows that your Email account is successfully added
with Outlook account.
How to Set
up Another Profile in Outlook for New Mailbox
Users
can add multiple email accounts in Outlook and can create more than one profile
in MS Outlook. Now if you want to add a second profile in Outlook, follow the
given steps:
- Click on Start >> Control Panel >> User Account >> Mail
- Now
Click on Show Profile Options and then Add
- A
new profile is added now you can view two profiles showing in the given
screenshot
- From
the two options given in the end, click on “Prompt Profile” option and click on
“Ok”
- Now
when you will open the Outlook, you will get a prompt window asking for choose
desired profile to enter, shown in the below screen
